Terms of Service

LemonTree is a baby activity tracking app that lets parents and caregivers manually record feeding, sleep, diaper changes, growth measurements, and other daily activities. The app also includes: • A Memories feature that lets you capture and store photos and videos of your baby's milestones, saved privately on your device. • A Stats dashboard with feeding, sleep, diaper, and growth summaries. • An AI assistant feature that provides general informational responses to baby-related questions based on publicly available guidance. LemonTree is a personal logging tool only. It is not a medical device, clinical system, or health monitoring service, and it is not regulated as such.

You must be at least 18 years old to use LemonTree. By using the app, you confirm that you are a parent, legal guardian, or authorised caregiver of the child whose data you are recording, and that you have the legal right to record and share that child's data through this app.

NOTHING IN LEMON TREE — INCLUDING THE AI ASSISTANT, ANY SUMMARIES, TIPS, OR OTHER CONTENT — CONSTITUTES MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT. All content generated by the AI assistant is general informational guidance only. AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inapplicable to your specific situation. AI systems can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect information (sometimes called "hallucinations"). You must not rely on LemonTree or its AI assistant as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concern about your child. In an emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. We expressly disclaim any liability for harm arising from reliance on AI responses or any other content generated by LemonTree.

When you use the AI assistant, your question and relevant activity context are transmitted to a third-party AI provider operating independently of LemonTree. By using the AI assistant, you consent to this transmission. The AI provider used may vary by region. Each provider is subject to its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control what the AI provider does with transmitted data once it leaves our servers. You should not include sensitive medical, personal, or identifying information in AI messages.

LemonTree stores activity records locally on your device. You are solely responsible for the data you enter, including its accuracy and for maintaining your own backups. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, accidental deletion, app uninstallation, or any other cause. Photos and videos added to the Memories feature are stored only on your device. We do not upload, access, or back up this media. You are responsible for exporting or backing up any Memories media you wish to preserve. When Family Sharing is enabled, activity records are temporarily uploaded to our servers solely to sync them to other devices in your family group and are deleted from our servers after receipt is confirmed. Memories media is never synced. We do not build profiles, sell data, or use activity records for advertising or AI training.

The Memories feature requires access to your device's photo library to let you select photos and videos. This access is used solely to copy selected media to the app's local storage. We do not read, scan, or upload any media files beyond those you explicitly select. You may revoke photo library access at any time through your device's Settings. Revoking access will prevent adding new media to Memories but will not delete media already saved in the app.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your use of LemonTree. You agree not to: • Use the app in any way that violates applicable law or regulation. • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its backend services. • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or networks. • Use the app to store or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights. • Circumvent any security or rate-limiting mechanism. You are solely responsible for any photos, videos, or other content you add to the app. You must have the right to store and use any media you add to Memories. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms, without notice or liability.

We do not guarantee that LemonTree will be available at any particular time, free of errors, or that any data will be preserved. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the service or any feature at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

You may stop using LemonTree at any time. Uninstalling the app removes your local data, including any Memories media stored in the app. If you have used Family Sharing, you may leave your family group from the Settings screen. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will increment the version number and prompt you to review and re-accept within the app. If you do not accept updated Terms, you must stop using LemonTree. Continued use after the prompt constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LEMON TREE AND ITS DEVELOPERS PROVIDE THE APP AND ALL CONTENT "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI ASSISTANT RESPONSES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR SITUATION.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: • LEMON TREE AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF LEMON TREE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. • OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 10 (OR LOCAL EQUIVALENT). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LemonTree and its developers, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the app; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (d) data or media you enter into the app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For users in mainland China, these Terms are subject to the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app will be resolved through binding arbitration or the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by local law. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against us.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LemonTree regarding your use of the app and supersede any prior agreements.
